I don't understand all this haggling over fibre glass fuselages.
I have a ASW-17 sailplane that was manufactured by Bob Boucher and I built
it in 1978. It is rudder and elevator only. It was an AstroFlight kit. Bob
I believe won several major events in 1976 and 1977 with this model.
I thought the rules where based on "time when the kit was made", not
what the make up of the materials are.
