For a good time this coming Labor Day Weekend
(September 2nd & 3rd) in Muncie, Indiana, the OVSS/LOFT Fall Round Up is
coming. There will be two days of Seeded Man-on-Man, Unlimited class
flying split into Expert and Sportsman classes. We will be using the AMA
winches, equipment, and generator and flying on the greatest field in the
USA. The goal is a lot of flying and lots of fun.
This year, pre-entry is available prior to August
27, and encouraged for the FRU. But, entries will be accepted on field
with monetary penalties. If you would like an entry form, please
e-mail me off RCSE and I will send you a Word file with the entry form
or you can find one on the LOFT webpage @ www.rc-aero.com/LOFT

Last year we had approximately 30 plus entries in
Unlimited both days and we are looking for more this year. Awards
will be first through fifth in Expert and first through third in Sportsman both
days and Overall Champions in both classes for the weekend. As was began
last year, the OVSS will award it's Champion Flier for 2000.
The FRU is the last stop for OVSS in 2000.
Also, this year, MIST (Modelers In Search of
Thermals) will be helping with the contest. MIST is a new soaring club
that is located in Muncie, Indiana.
