Hi All,

I have been asked by many people if there will be another version of Spieltek's IHLGF 2002 Technical report.

The answer is Yes!

This year I beleive I got a picture of every pilot with his plane.  Many of these pics were before the carnage occured.  I took more than 200 pictures, alot of pictures of technical stuff, took alot of notes on construction, new watches, tails, servos, etc.  I even managed to get more than 2 hours of DL video of Joe, Oleg, Bruce, and many more.  I got sequences of planes coming in and then being relaunched.  I got insights on how to practice events as well as more.

I had a very abitious form for gathering data, but could not get every plane.  For many planes this was their second trip to the contest, however for the new planes I tried to get all the data.  I will be merging the data for the old planes of last year with the new data for this year.

I hope to take a new apporach to the designing of the CD, but it will not be big in artwork, however it will have alot of pics, as I mentioned before.

If you are interested in being notified when the CD is ready, send me a email offline and I will add you to my growing list.  Please know I have to increase the price a bit because the Mrs ( and the company president says I need to to break even.

It was really a great contest.  Thanks to Tom Clarkson and Ron Scharak for taking the time to talk to me about the IHLGF goals.  A great group of people.

For those of you who missed it, put it on your calendar for next year.  You will not be disappointed!

Thermals,
Chris
