The very first inside page of the latest issue of "Model Airplane News"
shows a selection of ARF sailplanes. Looks like Hobby Shack. I have a few
questions:
What's the quality like - will they take a good launch?
Where do they come from?
What about the Optima Pro with rudder, elevator, ailerons and
spoilers?
Are these really available now or is there a long, long wait before
you can hold one in your hand?
Regarding the last question, there seems to be a practice among hobby
suppliers of announcing a product long, long, before it's truly
available.(Yes, I know all about software vendors and vaporware) Perhaps
they should harken to the words of one of the Chicago Bears: "Don't let your
mouth write a check your behind can't cash".
