Interesting things are happening of late. Several manufacturers of highest quality lines of airframes, in the US and Germany, have expressed interest in offering their ARFs with the Rotary Driver System pre-installed. Others have expressed interest in providing the Kimbrough Products Couplers with dedicated instructions and perhaps some pre-fabbed shafts and pockets, to help modelers easily install the system in their specific line of kits. Pre-installation has to be feasible from an economic and engineering standpoint. Since the parts are low cost or easily pre-fabbed, the primary need is to make it simple and to minimize labor involved. In my own experience, what takes the most time is putting in a bearing tube to support and precisely align the shaft between pocket and coupler. A simpler and quicker alternative came to mind a few days ago. It's a "no brainer" useable on most airframes. In essence, thin, vertical plates with a hole in them to support the shafts, are firmly secured on the wing side of the hingeline. NOTHING is needed between plates and couplers. Any servo tilt needed to align the shaft into the pocket can be easily set, as usual, with a little glob of epoxy under the servo base.
