Sandy Herider has just informed me that the doctors removed all the tubes
today and Andy is doing "real" well.He may be moved into a regular room
in the next day or two.Thanks to all who care and are praying for his
recoveryBrian Smith

Andy Herider came through a bronchioscopy yesterday. Is recovering. No sign
of rejection of the lungs yet, though it is early to expect that.

Stopped in to see Andy Herider today. So far, so good. He was able to sit
up and talk to me. The nurse said he was going to move to a chair at noon
today for his first time out of bed since the surgery.
He told me he had surgery 3 times on Friday and Saturday to accomplish the
lung
