We are now offering our Spectre 100 and 120 fuselage (pod-and-boom style)separately, for those who like to scratchbuild. This fuselage is 50 1/4" long, weighs 5.2 ounces, and is designed to accept wings up to 9" wide(wider, with minor mods). The design requires that the wing be mounted to the top of the Pod. Distance from the nose to the wing leading edge is 10.5 inches. Pod length overall is 21 3/4". Room inside for 8 ounces of sheet lead for ballast, up to a pound of lead shot. It's designed for full winch launches and REALLY LOUSY landings ("javelin"style) ;-) One of the big reasons our Spectre 120 comes in at 45 ounces ready to fly is because of this unique assembly. Pre-installed wing mounting plates, towhook block, and skeg mounting plate included, as well as molded hatch cover. Our website has photos of this fuselage--it is used on the Spectre 120 and 100----the pod portion is the same as is used on the Spectre 2 meter. It is sized to accept 600 mah nicad packs of the "AE" designation, and receivers such as Hitec's "Super-slim" fit beautifully. Micro servos are required for the tail. This item is not posted for sale on our website as yet, hopefully soon. $120 each plus shipping.
