I guess I'm not sure whether moving the CG aft will change the absolute stall speed but I can tell you that, up to a point, your approach speed can be much slower with an aft CG than with a forward CG. Our sailplanes are still quite flyable with CG's quite a bit aft (even aft of neutral). If you
