Well a few members of our club braved the cold for the first flight of
the millennium. At noon there was a gathering of 10 local fliers in the
-10 C (14 F) temperature, the ceiling was about 200 ft in ice fog. Brian
Olson brought out a Gentle Lady and we all got a chance to fly. The
flights were short and close in due to the fog. Everyone had a good time
and toasted in the new year with a flight and some Champaign. A good
start to the new millennium.
