The Silent Electric Flyers of San Diego and SANYO Energy (USA) are proud to host the International Electric Flight Festival (IEFF) and the F5 World Championships which will be held in beautiful San Diego, California. The IEFF (Aug. 3-6), which is open to all pilots, precedes the F5 World Championships (Aug 6-12). The IEFF, considered as a "warm-up" for the F5 WC, will consist of the following events: F5B, F5D, F5B (ten cell), F5B (7 cell), F5A (Aerobatics), F5C (Helicopters), Speed 400 Pylon Racing, "Sunrise to Sunset" AULD, and "American" AULD. Take this opportunity to compete against the very best electric flight pilots in the world. Visitors are welcome and volunteers are cherished. We are currently working on a spectacular EWC2000 web site which will be part of the new and revised Silent Electric Flyers of San Diego web site (www.sefsd.org). When complete, we want this site to be your information source for not only the International Electric Flight Festival and the F5B/F5D World Championships, but for F5B and F5D flight in general. The site is being designed to be interactive thus allowing you be a part of these two great events. Please remember, The EWC2000 site is NOT ready yet.
