Is there anyone that is going to F3J in the Rockies, that might be passing
near (relatively anyway) Rochester, NY? I've got a plane that needs to get
to the Denver area and, if you can help out, it sure would be appreciated.
If you might be able to help out, please ping me off-line..
TIA,
Hey guys,
My flying buddy Jerry Gross and I (wives to) are heading west for the contest
and are running into a little trouble on a hotel. We'd like to stay out on
Tower Road somewhere near the sod farm but don't want to pay Airport prices.
$150.00 a night is a bit much for no more time than
There are just 2 weeks left to register for the F3J in the Rockies. We
currently have 8 teams registered with a few F3B winch teams. The US F3J
Team will be there and the Canadian Team is planning on coming as well. It
should be a great event. Please get your registrations in no later than May
It looks like this years F3J in the Rockies, scheduled for May 24-25, will
be the largest ever. I have commitments for about 7-8 teams currently, and
we are limited to 12 teams (lanes) of 4 pilots each. If you want to try F3J
- this is the place to do it. We will have world class pilots

F3J in the Rockies is planned for Memorial Day weekend. I understand the
difficulty of arranging teams so I have put together a little web app that
allows entrants to create or join teams. Here is a little discussion of the

1. Scores will be carried into the flyoff rounds.
2. 4 man team protection.
3. Flyoff rounds Sunday
People are starting to make plans so I though I'd announce F3J in the Rockies
before we see conflicts.
This year we are going back to Memorial Day weekend - May 28 and 29.
As usual full rules - whatever the team selection uses. No limbo task though.
Let me know your frequency - 59 is already
. That is what happened to
me...
There is not any one that flew in the fly off's that does not have a
story to tell
