Well, I was trying. But when I re-read it, it seemed a little mean-spirited to be funny with that last-email I sent about Gordy. So what I should really say is, sure, I've found Gordy annoying at times, and at times I've disagreed with him strongly. But overall, Gordy has been extremely helpful to me, and I owe to him some of the best improvements to my rigs, both from his private posts and his articles. Further, for as much as I've incurred his wrath and scorn, some of it deservedly, I don't find him to be a grudge-holder nor vindictive, which is a quality I respect a lot. He even told me I could send that (now infamous) servo I had problems with to him and he would try to see that it got diagnosed and remedied. And he wasn't even the one who sold it to me, he just has a sincere desire to make this hobby a better place. The 2000mah NiCad C-cells and efficient arrangment in my Stork: Gordy. The trim and setup instructions for the Stork, from Europe, which I didn't get with the kit, Gordy (and Jim Bacus). And two or three other really *cool* improvements to my equipment, Gordy. It is worth the occassional clashes, by far, to work with Gordy. Gordy is dedicated to the sport. WYSIWYG personality and all. -p RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
