I hate to have to bring this to this level, but I've run out of options...short of calling the law. I purchased an SBXC from Harold Saunders of Madison AL. I sent him the payment several months ago. Since then, I've gotten a series of excuses as to why it hasn't shipped, including "I was on the way to the PO with the plane and it fell out of my truck and the guy behind me ran it over." He had another one so I asked for it or my $ back. He apparently has spent the $ since he says he can't send payment back until June. He was going to now send me his "#1" SBXC and then was going to buy it back from me when he got the money together.
He mentioned he called RNR and said they couldn't match a new panel to an old wing. Out of curiosity, I called them myself. They could in fact match a new panel to an old wing since everything is jigged. I also mention who I was getting it from and told him the story of it falling out of the truck. He said he remembered the story...from a couple of years ago! Now I'm furious! Anyway, I'm out $900. I know Nathan Woods made a plea on this forum and got immediate response from the individual. I'm hoping someone can help persuade Harold to get off is @#$ and send me my plane. I don't have much to offer as a reward, but I'll work something out with the helping party(ies).
