For hinges try Scotch #600, available at Office Max, etc. This stuff is on large rolls and comes 3 to a box @ ~ $12. Get a dispenser while you're at it. This stuff is really good for all-around use and is certainly cheap enough. A three roll box will last a really long time. I've used a lot more of it just to tape "stuff" than for hinges and i'm in thee middle of the first roll after 2+ years! As for the tape, itself, it is the best I've ever used for hinges, and I"ve tried them ALL both foreign & domestic!. Scotch 600's properties are identical to tnose need (for hinging) and it doesn't yellow or seem to get brittle under UV. I used it exclusivly on SuperVs which I flew aggressivly with no failures.
