I will bear witness to the fact that Rich is very agressive on his launches.
When he says he pulses the winch, that's a few taps about half way up. Other
than that, he's on the pedal. He's flying a stylus - so you can bet he's got
pre-set. His Majestic goes up at a very steep angle. In the last contest, I
found myself kiting my Victory and pulling line off the winch (it was
blowing pretty good and I had a free pop-off if needed) in an effort to keep
up with his incredible launches. The guy is an animal. If I had a Majestic,
I'd want it to be JUST like his.
BTW One flight, Rich managed a perfect time and a 99 landing (AMA tape).
That's hard to compete with. Rich is becoming a very accomplished pilot.
