I have only owned two modern day TD planes, a Mantis and the Compulsions, both bagged.
Just recently I got the molded bug and bought a Sharon 3.7 and a ExtremeDP cross
tail. I never thought there would be that much of difference between bagged and molded.
But I have to admit the molded Extreme may be the best thermal plane I have ever
flown, I was surprised by its performance to say the least. BUT, will I fly it at
Visalia- NO WAY! Too much chance of damaging it,too hard to replace, getting shot
down, etc. It will only go as a back up to the Compulsion. And to me that is the
biggest drawback of flying moldeds. Maybe I made a mistake purchasing them, if you're
afraid to fly em, why have them!
