I don't know if this has been done ever (or at least recently), but it would be great to see an article in RCSD giving a detailed outline and comparison of the features of the top-end and mid-range transmitters. I would do it, if someone wanted to donate some transmitters to the cause (and docs) so I could evaluate them. That would be payment enough, I suppose. Otherwise, I guess a person who attends a lot of competitions, would probably have better exposure to the mileu and be better suited to write the article. I have a Stylus on back order, and I'm told that it is a fantastic radio, even "you can't win a competion without one." But I'm buying it on reputation only. What I really wanted and couldn't get was a lot of specific, very detailed information about the transmitters and possibly how they compared. I'd like to see pictures of the displays, pictures of the knobs and switches, step by step programming of key features, so that I can get a feeling of what it is like to own one (at least operationally). -Paul RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
