Good reason for smaller span in a moldy or glass bagged.  Guys have found
that the composite ships tip weight makes a difference when it comes to just
using Rudder for roll.

The smaller span should take some of that mass moment out of the equation and
add some serious value when it comes to the landings.

Don't be too quick to condemn, those RNR guys started in the RNR days by
winning lots of contests and they know the cost of gearing up for the 'wrong'
plane.

Let the games begin, and see what produces smiles and wood :-)
