FedEx ground now has a revised insurance policy, it is basically impossible to insure for over $100 unless the product meets narrow criteria that they specify.... I am not usre who is better now. Fedex ground seems to have a better track record for not damaging things, but if you can't insure the item, who else can ship it reasonably and insure it?
