I have built the Spirit 100 and am building the Spirit Elite. It realy
doesn't mater which way you do it but I would adjust the saddle. This
way you have a reference piont when repairs are needed.

I have had my Spirit 100 cume streight down from 50ft through small
trees and into a small creek (this was one crash). The only damage was
two sheared nylon wing hold down bolts and some gravel imbedded in the
nose block. New bolts and I was back in the air.
