We happened to burn up a good Ford Long Shaft motor (model 3110) recently,
so time for a replacement. So we stopped by our reputable local motor shop
and they could no longer offer the Lester model. The shop did have a
"replacement" 6v motor with the same specifications as the 3110. The new
model number is S02-5787N product line code GHN. I'm not sure of the
country of origin or the manufacturer, but it looks just like the 3110. I
was wondering if anyone has any experience with this motor. We'll run it
and do field testing, but it would be good to know if we have a ripe lemon
on our hands.
