I believe the A123's are Lithium Ion Nanophosphate, not Lithium Polymer. Their biggest feature is that they can be charged faster (3-4C, IIRC) and allow very high discharge rates (30C, with 60C burst), and are much more chemically stable than LiPos. There was a video on the 'net of an A123 cell
