I am aware of the qualifications of a witness. The most difficult part is that they have to be "present" to be a witness. Especially, when out to do landings, I have to make an "appointment" with a witness. I fly mostly during the week while most of the "witnesses" are at work.
Sailplane flying at the power field on the weekend equates to "not much flying". Keep in mind that there are no other sailplane flyers out here in my part of MS.
