Rick. . . you're asking a lot from a guy who frequently bounds from one room
to another, forgetting on the way. . . . why.

Oboy. . .let's see. . .Duoflex, Tri-Belle, Miskeet, Mod-Pod, Hi-Pro,
Sport-Pro, SW 107, Spirit of Freedom, Atrix, Keetah, Roto-Raven, Jouster,
Jouster 2 meter, Orca, Buzzbat, Jouster 2, RES-MAXX.

These were spread out over 30 plus years, so it's no big deal in my mind,
but each had some unique feature or features that made them different than
other ones.

Starting with the Atrix, which was a take off on Stu Blanchard's
much-heralded F3B Calypso 6, I figured out a new method of wood fuselage
construction that was so durable that I abandoned fiberglas, etc.

The Miskeet, Mod-Pod and Hi-Pro were full-kitted. Ralph White of Fliteglas
Models, did a gorgeous glass fuse for the Miskeet, but the full kit in 1971
sold for a whopping $75 and did not get many takers at that price.

ACE/R/C, under Runge management, kitted the Easy Eagle I designed
specifically for them. Later management discontinued it in favor of RTF
ships. Last I heard Steve Kaluf, now with the AMA still had the prototype.
All in all, about 5000 of the kitted designs were sold, mostly in the early
1970's.

The Atrix, Keetah and Jouster were 3 piece, bolt-on wing ships that preceded
the GENIE, which is the most sophisticated sailplane I know of that can be
actually be scratch-built from basic building materials, plans, CNC cut
cores and the supporting CD.

There were still a lot of builders when the original Jouster was published
July 1993. Some 500 sets of plans were sold. My late friend, Harry Smith,
cut cores for it and over a couple of years shipped a couple of hundred sets
out.

 The GENIE was offered for publication, but the mags felt a ship with a
vacuum bagged wing was too far out of the experience of most readers would
not sell enough plans to offset publication costs.
