Why is it that when you order a new competition F3J , F3B, Open.. sailplane
the guys at the other end selling these popular models cannot give you an
honest delivery date? They will tell you 4 to 6 weeks when in reality they
are really saying 6 to 10 weeks. Is it me or my bad luck? It just seems
that no matter whom I order a new sailplane from, it arrives 2 or more
weeks late every time. Furthermore, you have to add UPS ground time to that
when they actually ship. I’m not stupid, and I realize that sometimes
things happen that are out of their control. Am I the only one out there
that would rather be told the truth on lead time and be pleasantly surprised
if the bird arrives early? Are they afraid that they are going to lose the
order or what?
I would be interested to know who to order from next time. There are a lot
of planes out there that are equally competitive and I would like to
eliminate my frustration and enjoy flying instead.
