My funniest one was with a brand new 2.8m Multiplex Alpha 27 glider with
centre panel and 2 tips, spent ages checking it out. But when I threw it
off the slope both tip panels came whizzing off. I forgot to put the
joiners between the centre and tip panels in but due to the multiplex
winglock system it seemed ok until some force was applied. Guess what they
are now glued into the tip panels, and fortunately only a small bit of
damage had occurred around the wing bolts.
