Try fresh water followed by the electric motor cleaner that the rc car guys
use. Carburetor cleaner works too. It dries out the water.
The trick is to rinse out the salt water and dry the electronics before
corrosion has a chance to start. I used to play with RC boats a lot and
have seen a few
Immediately rinse them with fresh water, then allow to dry
