I have tried to include the spread sheet I did on tail booms with this
message, but I don't know if it is going to work.  Maybe Chris Adams can
forward it.
I also use the G Force SUL boom on my models.  I think Brian Buass is
using the G Force Std for his.  The Highest stiffness per weight for HL
usage is the SUL but only by about 1 GM in weight.  The Andrukov
Al/Carbon/Al booms are, to all intents, rigid.  You have to run the
pushrods externally so as not to put a hole in the boom where it may
break.  I would use Andrukov's if I could afford them.  The more rigid
the boom, the less the need for a gyro, assuming you have sized the
Vertical Stabilizer correctly.
