I don't quite knew where I got it, perhaps here or elsewhere, but this blaster worm virus (also called LovSan) was hard to get rid off. In case you get it, go to website:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.rem oval.tool.html and download a small program for free. I had to run it a couple of times to clean my disks. It will also ask you if you want to download the Windows fix - which you should already have done, but many people didn't. Also, follow the instructions concerning turning off your restore utility options, although if you were really counting on having your last system restores available I wouldn't know what to tell you as it seems that things get deleted. Even if you don't have the blaster virus now you might as well download the fix because if you get the virus, it will close down your computer after a few minutes, thus making it difficult to download anything (it took me an hour of trying to get the removal program etc).
