Have a friend looking for a backup for his Stratos SL-XT, and is thinking
about the Lazurite. Anyone with any experience with that plane? (I had
not even heard of it until I was directed to the HC website.)
2nd question ... Anyone looking to sell a Topaz? (same reason)

I am selling my Topaz and will be at the Fall Round Up this weekend
in Muncie. I prefer to deliver there if possible.
This plane flew to 5th place at this years NATS, so it must have good
mojo. I certainly couldn't be my thumbs.
I'm getting a Topaz L, the larger wingspan version.
JR368s
I have had a lot of inquiries about the new topaz M. A limited number of the
full house version of the Topaz RES is now avaliable. Topaz M is slightly
larger than the res version and features a flap/aileron wing and full flying
stab. some details are avaliable at www.hkm-models.com please email
Hi gang:
Just receive a new shipment of Topaz 3m RES, new
Topaz-XL (full house, at only 30oz) and 2m all molded 22oz Nova,

These planes (Topaz, Ava, Bubble Dancer) land slowly and softly. Take a
Tim McCann 3-tooth skeg and hack it up to make a single tooth with
mounting soles front and aft. This is plenty to stop
I finished my Topaz and flew it this past weekend. Very
impressive. Mine cam out at 36.2 oz and neede no nose weight. For skegs, I used
a Tim McCann “V” skeg on the rear, and I made a nose skeg from G10
for the nose (although a friend used a Tim McCann nose skeg for his and it
worked great)
