Rich; There are the Tadiran rechargable lithium cells too. They are AA size with a capacity of 750 mAH and weigh .6 oz each. Two of them makes a 6v pack that weighs 1.2 oz. They have a max rated discharge rate of 2A - plenty for a three channel 2 meter plane or a full house HLG. As I understand, the slow fly guys are using these to regularly get 30 minute to 1 hour flights. Wes-Technic has some custom made Tadiran cells 2/3 AA size. These are 430 mAH capacity and weigh .4 oz each. These would be excellent for HLG - I intend to get some one of these days soon - like when I get around to working on my DJ Aerotech Wizard Lite. Should be an excellent match for that plane. I am curious about the solid polymer Lithiums. As I understand, they have good capacity and are very light. Good sky; J.P.
