Does anyone willing to share have an Excel spreadsheet or PC program that will let you determine the effects of the relative wind seen by the wing and tail of a plane in a thermal turn?
I'm aware the Model Aviation articles around 1990 by Blaine Rawdon on spiral stability and the bowl effect probably contain the pertinent information but I thought I'd ask here before making the inquiries into back issues.
