If your recievers are less than a year old than they are "up to date", longer antenna and whatever if anything else. I had a couple of the earlier ones with the short antenna, sent them back and they quickly fixed them for free.

I was having range issues with another of my JR receivers and it turns out that the crystal slowly went bad over a period of several years. Probably went bad becouse I was busy Lawn Darting my DLG's into the ground as I slowly learned the hard way about other issues like proper battery maintenance and care.

Hope this helps and nobody was offended!

So I know this issue has been beat to death and lots of people have had
issues with the JR R610M Receiver.

My range check is almost nonexistent...which seems to be a problem with
these receivers.

So I'm wondering if anyone has sent them into JR and had them
replaced/serviced and if this fixed the problem. Mine is less than a year
old but I haven't had to deal with JR service so I don't know what to
expect. Also did this cost you anything? I really like the small size of
the RX...but I don't feel comfortable getting my plane any further than
about 200' away (yes, like an idiot I'm still using it).

Thanks!
Jared
