Here's a thought.....the safest aircraft is one that never leaves the ground or can fly at all.....so prepare your aircraft to withstand clipping trees, buildings, slow moving cows, wind shear, bad pilot decisions, etc. and pretty soon it is so heavy that it won't ever be damaged.....'cause it's such a pig you never want to fly it......so you never take it to the field!!
