Subject: Re: [RCSE] Tree story
Hi all,
All tree stories begin the same way, "win this contest, win, win, one more
extra turn" then the trees jump up and grab your plane. After some @#^^*
words I realized my $2000 girlfriend (the only girlfriends my wife let me
have), landed out of sight in a tree.
Well, mark the plane (brand new Pike Perfect) my timer (and wife) and I
start walking, looking for a green plane in a green forest......I was half
sick to my stomach after all my brain waves explained to me there is no
way this plane would be OK. My wife Leanne tried to calm me somewhat. I
used my radio to wiggle the sticks hoping we would hear servo noises.
We did, ....Leanne did. "Over here!" she yelled.
I was about 20 feet off to the left of the tree and my wife was right
under. "Honey let me turn my radio off. I would like to look at the
glider and see what needs to be done. Do you see any damage?"
By this time my wonderful wife was already half way UP the tree. She
lowerd my Pike down to me. As I checked for damage my wife needed help.
"Can you help me down first?" she asked.
What a plane, what a wife (I hope, I have my priority right!) What a wife,
what a plane. No damage on ether. My wife rescued my girlfriend.......is
there anyone else who can say that....I love my wife.
