I've, too, had some weird experiences with Futaba. 2 years ago I bought a 9C and tried to set it up with a full house sailplane with V-tail. It would not work and when I called Hobbico they advised that there was a bug in the program that would not allow it to work with a V-tail. They traded

Hmmm. The only v-tail bug I've ever heard about involved elevator compensation on a v-tail when crow was used (one side of the v-tail would more more then the other). I know lots of people who use the 9C on a v-tail full house glider with no problems. At 09:17 AM 4/19/04 -0500, Robert Samuels

As I understand it, the current 9C does allow V-tail in a full house sailplane. It was the first run of the 9Cs that had the V-tail/sailplane bug. The current ones still have the rudder trim reversal bug. Robert Samuels, St. Louis
