I did a bit (3.5 hours) of flying today out in Elsinore, Ca.  I found myself low (600 feet) patiently working a tiny 100 fpm thermal until it built up enough to get me away again.  I really focused on slow(ish) tight slightly slipped turns, and on keeping my head on the head rest, as the G-loading was starting to bug me after about 10 minutes of sustained 45* bank.  It worked, and I got complimented on an unlikely-looking "save"
