use the =concatenate(a1,,b1) equation... Maybe I'm missing something. I don't see any reason to work this hard. I simply edit the file in MS Word and save it as a text file with the SCR extension. Most files take less than a minute to edit. Bill Swingle [EMAIL PROTECTED] Janesville, CA
