This is exactly what I was going to point out. The worst case if a tangled launch with the glider being dragged sideways. That's gotta be more than double or triple the weight of the plane. Play it safe and put a big servo in it. In my 4.5M I use a Hitec 225. -Ben Brian Chan wrote: At

The 225 instead of the low profile 77 is the servo I had in mind using for the release. I checked it using a 10lb. dumbell and it hardly required any pull at all on the cable to get the dumbell to fall. This is going in a 4m so I feel I should have no problems. Thanks for the info and the
