Russ, I worked pretty hard a couple of months ago trying to find out just the same thing. The folks at Great Planes -- Model Services confirmed what others had said, it can't be done. Sorry for the bad news.
Since I really didn't need the extra capacity of the Triton I sold mine and bought an ACE R/C Digital Dual Vari-Charger at my LHS and a used Sirius Charge Pro. (By the way, the folks at Sirius told me that any of their chargers have an unlimited life time warranty, doesn't matter who owns it, original owner or not.) One draw back to the DDVC is that it doesn't have a shut off timer, but other ACE R/C chargers do. The DDVC goes as low as 5 mA so I can charge my tiny mosquito class HLG batteries. <http://www.acehobby.com/acehobby/products/electronics/chargers/index.html> Another option is to build the slow charger published in the AMA's Model Aviation magazine. -- Jim Holliman -- Tulsa, Oklahoma AMA & TULSOAR RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
