glib is not absolutely needed. As the function sofsip_mainloop_run in
sofsip_cli.c suggests, with glib, the main loop with be based on glib:
g_main_loop_run
without it, sofsip-cli will use built-in event loop of Sofia-SIP:
su_root_run
