Zooming out of an ortho view with Grid displayed, at some point the vertical gridlines disappear, and only horizontal ones remain. Yuck! This is a relic from the old ages. How about fading those lines in/out?

zoom limits

Is there a way to make the navigation tool (I use the Alt key) not have limits when you get close to the camera interest? I just realized I can use the "zoom" tool separately to get in closer. That certainly helps, but I'm curious why there's a limit at all and how to change it. Dave G
