Yes I recall, that was back in Sept of last year. Cory also used to handle
Motionbuilder, but those duties (on a day to day basis) have also been handed
over.
I don’t believe though, as Matt suggested the intention was to manage Softimage
on a part time basis.

hmm, i dont think so. i expressed concern directly to him and he
assured that he could handle all of the products including softimage.
mostly by saying the PM was hands off and the real work is done by
others. i believe it was on his area blog and also 3dpro.

1) I don't think it was like that. Considering Cory was already PM on
other things, he was probably handling things for the time being before someone
was appointed to properly handle the day to day stuff.

I haven't used UV Remap very much so I gave it a try and I think I had the
same results that Christopher had.
When I use remap to change the UV position outside the 0,1 coordinates, the
tiling part of the texture doesn't render.

So people still think there is a future with Softimage?
Siggraph this year will be interesting. I'm wondering if Softimage will be
put in the same corner as MatchMover and Composite.
Autodesk tries to assure us, but they don't show it. Besides the devs and
QA, does Autodesk actually care at all?
