you might be a smarter cookie than I am (it’s likely even) – but as far as I know motion blur does NOT work on volumetric particles. What does work with the particle volume shader, is aligning the particles along their velocity, and making them soft streaks which is going to give you something very similar to motion blur. You have to dig into the compound for this - I think it’s all in the particle shaper. Might that be what you had in mind?

It was very slow but it worked. Now I have to do something similar again, I can't for the life of me get it to work, the cloud is cached and motion blur works as expected with a phong but not a volume render. MB set to end on frame. The camera is static. Anybody remember a specific hoop that needs to be jumped through? cheers, Andi ........................................................................... http://www.hackneyeffects.com/ https://vimeo.com/user4174293 http://www.linkedin.com/pub/andi-farhall/b/496/b21 http://www.flickr.com/photos/lord_hackney/ http://spylon.tumblr.com/ This email and any attachments to it may be confidential and are intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
