Make sure to start from the last frame that was cached, not the first uncached frame. The previous frame needs to be in memory. Also, does it make a difference if Enable Background Processing is on or off in the Bifrost Options? gray From: softimage-boun...@listproc.autodesk.com

I'm pretty sure we owe noicon.pic to Dave Lajoie Ironically, I recall the max uv editor was the model for the XSI texture editor. On 24 April 2016 at 08:08, Graham Bell wrote: > Heh, I wondered what many would think of that if it was picked up. > > In some ways it does mean

Yes, I'm on 2016 Ext2. If I try to extend a cache (either by setting Read/Write in the UI, or by passing "3" as the last argument for doCreateBifrostCache on the commandline), the only thing that happens is that all my memory gets eaten up. After that UI crashes, and comandline just finishes

The delay thing may be a clue. I had this issue, and it turned out to be a bad drive(local) in my system. The read and writes were cripplingly slow. Once I replaced the drive with a new one, all was good. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Best Regards, * Stephen P. Davidson* *(954) 552-7956*

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I’m really confused by the fact that Soft will successfully read scenes in via Merge any time, will Save and Open (only what was just saved) scenes within the same session, but can’t Open any scene anytime. I can create materials and add textures from either
