I just checked the source of the submission plugin and there is a function that 
counts the number of # in the filename to set the
padding parameter of the job.
But I have seen that in the file render_apps\_config\3D01__Softimage__2011 (and 
all other renderers) cfg the padding is not applied.
Please remove the # in front of the line(s) with the padding parameter 
"FPadding".

Subject: RR, XSI and leading zeroes



Hey list,

 

as you might know, Royal Render (6) ignores the pass settings for leading 
zeroes (eg. framename_#####.tiff) and uses the scene
settings that uses four digits as maximum. In most cases it's sufficient but 
not always. Is there any way to have RR uses the pass
settings for leading zeroes and ignore the scene setting completely regarding 
the frame padding?

I have learned to live with it but I wonder if there is a way to fix it.
