Sketchup's cam matching tool could be worth a look, also just from a
user's perspective, because it works quite nicely.
You can adjust vanishing x and y vanishing lines and scale the whole
thing on z (up).
It's invoked in the image importer dialog.

With all the camera matching we have to do, it would be nice to have

This is one quite handy tool in 3dsmax 2014 that should be simple enough to
implement in ICE, but apparently not in the almost featureless Softimage
2014.
Was wondering if anybody actually made something like this using ICE
