While you’re at it – don’t forget those connecting lines between the nodes –
absolutely essential, I’d say they are good for 33-50% of all ICE trees!
Also the passthrough node which is present in many compounds – maybe 10%?

I would say quite simply an updated Hypershade in Maya, who nodes can easily
be accessed or at least interacted upon/driven via the new ICE clone. Maya’s
Hypershade interface is the same as when I started using Maya 14+ years ago
today and it is far inferior to Softimage’s render tree and
this, so much fucking this
