*Software Engineer -Oracle Access Manager*
Purpose: The Software Engineer is responsible for providing complete support
to identity management infrastructure and applications.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
• As part of the Shared Services Team, the individual will provide support
for existing and new identity management based applications. Individual will
be working with the other McGraw-Hill application teams to provide the best
of breed support for identity management applications.
• The Systems Engineer is responsible for providing day to day support
activities as well as special project support for new and advanced solution
delivery to the organization. Support in relation to this position includes
but is not limited to the planning, coordination, implementation, tracking,
reporting, and documentation of delivered technical solutions.
• Work with internal teams and implement solutions in Oracle Access Manager
Identity Management platforms. This includes solutions for authentication,
authorization, single sign-on and any other solutions related to Oracle
Access Manager platform for various web sites.
• Resolve any application issues in a timely fashion.
• Work with vendors to resolve software and hardware level issues.
• Work with application developers to promote configuration across various
application environments.
• Work with the Quality Assurance group with the test strategy and assist in
participating QA cycles including performance testing.
• Provide timely status reports, including issues and risk assessment, as
well as strategies to mitigate risk and address issues.
• Support Maintenance: stop/start servers, monitor/report on server status,
deploy applications and other routine administrative work, Installation,
Configuration, performance tuning, clustering, load balancing
• Assume additional responsibility as required.
QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Minimum Requirements:
• Must have 4-6 years of implementation experience in identity
managementapplications development and support in Solaris in a very
large
scale environment, preferably in Oracle Access Manager, Core ID –
• Design and implement identity management solutions using Oracle Access
Manager, Core ID for multiple Ecommerce web sites. This includes
implementing online user authentication, authorization and SSO solutions
using policy manager workflow and identity management XML based web service.
• Implementation experience and thorough knowledge of server side components
of Oracle Access Manager, Core ID such as Access Server, Identity Server,
and Policy Manager.
• Implementation experience and thorough knowledge of client side components
of Oracle Access Manager, Core ID such as Access Server SDK, Access
Gates/Web Gates.
• Implementation experience integrating Oracle Access Manager with any LDAP
(preferably, Sun LDAP) solution.
• Extensive experience fine tuning, monitoring and load testing Oracle
Access Manager, Core ID, LDAP or any other leading identity management
solutions.
• Hands on experience with trouble shooting integration issues with Oracle
Access Manager, Core ID based solutions.
• Implementation experience of highly available topologies for Oracle Access
Manager.
• Implement monitoring solutions for Oracle Access Manager Identity
Management platforms.
• Solid scripting experience (Perl, Python, Unix Shell scripting)
• Good understanding of HTTP servers, and J2EE application servers, and
database concepts
Following requirements are a plus:
• Experience with BEA Weblogic Server, setting up Web logic Clusters, JMX,
JMS, Unix, Oracle
• Web Logic Server application performance & load testing, tuning and
optimization.
• Experience in implementing Oracle Service Bus (formerly known as BEA Aqua
Logic Service Bus), BEA Web Logic Integration, and preferably Oracle BPEL
process manager.
• Experience in setting up highly available architecture using Web Logic,
Aqua Logic, and Web Logic Integration.
• Experience with any web service monitoring and management tool, preferably
Actional or Oracle Web Service Manager.
• Web Services concepts.
