Wed Aug 13, 7:24 AM ET BRUSSELS, Belgium - The European Parliament says that part of the roof of its Strasbourg chamber has collapsed. It says it does not know why some 10 percent of the debating chamber's ceiling came down on Thursday last week. No one was hurt. A statement Wednesday said repairs have started to make the building safe before lawmakers return to work in September. The European Parliament splits its work between the EU headquarters in Brussels and Strasbourg, France.
